Overview
Departures: Any date on request
Just beyond the busy tourist beaches, another world still exists. Here, Hasan lives with his flock, caring for sheep and goats while also supporting his elderly parents.
Join him for a few days to experience the rhythms of Yörük life—early mornings, time with the animals, simple shelters, and moments of connection that grow naturally as you work, eat, and spend time together. This is a chance to learn from a life shaped by commitment, not convenience.
Program of the day
Each day follows the natural rhythm of life with Hasan and his animals. Mornings begin early with feeding and moving the sheep and goats. You may walk with the flock, observe how Hasan cares for them, and assist with simple daily tasks.
Meals are shared simply, often outdoors or in the shelter of the camp. Afternoons may include rest, tending to animals, or helping with small responsibilities around the homestead. Evenings slow down with tea, quiet conversation, and time to reflect on the day.
While Hasan primarily speaks Turkish and Turkmen, communication is part of the experience. Translation apps work well, and he has friends nearby who speak excellent English and can assist when needed.
No two days are exactly the same—life here is shaped by the needs of the animals, the weather, and the season.
